Previously published work will not be considered. Simultaneous submissions are welcome, but please notify us immediately if accepted elsewhere, by email or by removing your file from the Submittable manager. Only one submission is allowed per quarter in each category. Please wait up to three months for a response, after which you may submit again. Thank you for your interest. Rights: We acquire first North American serial rights (FNASR) upon signed receipt of our publishing contract, which we will email to you if your material is accepted. This includes the right to publish your material on our website indefinitely as well as a future print edition, to be released one year of the date of your acceptance letter. If we don’t print your work within that year, FNASR for print reverts back to the author. The author retains all other rights after publication, under the condition that the author will credit The Tomahawk Creek Review as the original publisher if the material is reprinted elsewhere.

Editing: We shall make no changes in, additions to, or eliminations from the work, except for typographical, spelling, and grammatical errors, without the author’s consent. Any other edits will be requested of the author and agreed upon between the author and editor prior to publication.

Payment: At the moment, we cannot pay for authors’ work, but hopefully in the future, a small remuneration will be given.
